Heirloom Wedding Films Across New England

Cape Cod Wedding Videographer

I film weddings on Cape Cod. Salt air, tented lawns, and an evening light I shape the day around.

More Than a Wedding Film

A family heirloom, created from one extraordinary day.

We create cinematic films that bring back the voices, the movement, and the people who made the day yours.

Hair, makeup, suits, and the laughter in between. I capture the details, your dress reveal, and the people sharing the morning with you.

First Look and Private Vows

A first look with your partner or family, with room to enjoy the moment. Small microphones can preserve your private vows in your own voices.

3:00 PM

Ceremony

Three to four camera angles follow your entrances, vows, and reactions. Dedicated audio recording keeps every word clear.

5:00 PM

Cocktail Hour

Guests catching up, family portraits alongside your photographer, and the reception details before everyone takes their seats.

6:00 PM

Grand Entrance

Your entrance, your people, and the room coming alive. I follow the energy and the reactions around you.

6:10 PM

First Dance

Your first dance together, filmed from complementary angles with attention to movement, expressions, and the people watching.

6:30 PM

Toasts

Clean audio and two to three camera angles preserve each speaker, your reactions, and the stories everyone will remember.

7:00 PM

Family Dances

Parent and family dances receive the same care as your first dance, with a close eye on the embraces and small expressions.

7:30 PM

Cake Cutting

The cake, the first slice, and the laughter around it. A little tradition, captured naturally.

9:00 PM

Dancing

The dance floor fills and the evening finds its rhythm. I stay with the energy, the friendships, and the moments that make the night yours.

Wedding films are among the most personal work we create. They are made for you now, but their value grows with time.

SDM Weddings is led by founder Scott Mullaley in Norwood, Massachusetts, with a limited calendar so every wedding receives his full attention. Scott is a Boston wedding videographer filming across Cape Cod, the North Shore and New Hampshire.

Cape Cod is a drive I am happy to make. I film from Sandwich, where the Cape begins, through Hyannis and Osterville, and out to Chatham. The day has a different clock here. Portraits want the late light, cocktail hour can happen on a lawn with the water in the frame, and the reception often stays outside longer than a city evening would. I plan around that.

Wychmere Beach Club, Ocean Edge, The Club at New Seabury, and Sea Crest are among the places I serve. At Wychmere Beach Club the lawn meets the harbor, and a ceremony there already looks like a film. Ocean Edge has the space of a campus, which means the ceremony and the reception may be a short walk apart and I cover that walk. The Club at New Seabury opens toward the water and the fairways. Sea Crest faces the beach, so the sound of the surf is part of what I consider when I place the audio. I film at each of them.

Chatham, Osterville, Hyannis, and Sandwich each ask for something different, and I serve all four. Chatham is a village and a harbor, good for a film that wants both the streets and the water. Osterville is private homes and clubs, set back from the road, with lawns that hold a tent beautifully. Hyannis is where a larger guest list still feels like the Cape, close to the harbor and the boats. Sandwich is the easy arrival, marshes and a boardwalk within reach of the ceremony, and a kind first look at the peninsula.

Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are part of my Cape work. I serve both islands. The ferry or a small plane is built into the schedule, and I arrive in time for the start of your day on the island. A Vineyard wedding may move from a harbor village out toward the water. A Nantucket wedding may begin in town and finish on a beach as the light goes. I treat the travel as part of the wedding, because for you it is.

I am booking Cape Cod weddings for 2027. Summer Saturdays go first, and I keep the list short so I can give the day the attention it deserves. Tell me the town, the club or the house, and the date. You will hear back from me within one business day.

Questions, Answered

When should we book?

Most couples reach out nine to eighteen months ahead, and Saturdays from May through October reserve first. We accept a limited number of weddings each year and are now booking 2027.

Do you travel?

Yes. From our base in Norwood, Massachusetts, we film across New England, from Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands to the Berkshires, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Destination weddings are available by arrangement.

When will we receive our films?

Your teaser trailer arrives within one week with The Feature and The Heirloom, and your highlight film within eight weeks with every package. Every film is delivered privately online.

Will you work alongside our photographer?

Always. We coordinate the timeline with your planner and photographer so the whole day flows naturally.

Can our package be customized?

Yes. Additional coverage, multiple locations, welcome events and destination travel can all be added. We shape it together in our first conversation.

How does pricing work?

Our packages are marked $ to $$$ so you can compare them at a glance. After a relaxed conversation about your date, location and coverage, we send a personal proposal.

Do you travel to Cape Cod for the wedding day?

Yes. I travel to Cape Cod from my base in Norwood for the wedding day, from Sandwich and Hyannis to Osterville and Chatham, and to clubs such as Wychmere Beach Club, Ocean Edge, The Club at New Seabury, and Sea Crest.

Do you film on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket?

Yes. Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are both places I serve. Ferries and small planes are part of the plan, and I build the schedule so coverage begins when your day begins on the island.

Are you booking Cape Cod weddings for 2027?

Yes. I am booking Cape Cod weddings for 2027 now. Summer Saturdays are the dates couples ask about first, and the calendar stays limited so each wedding has my full attention.
